Michael began his musical journey at the age of nine, when he first picked up the drums. By ten, he was already performing in his first band, playing at school assemblies and discovering a passion for punk rock that would fuel his early years, honing his craft and developing a reputation for his fast, hard-hitting style.

At twenty, he joined Hertfordshire’s Plastic Passion, a band with a growing following and notable media coverage. Touring Europe and the UK, he supported major acts like Thirty Seconds to Mars—earning high praise from Jared Leto, who dubbed him “the fastest hands in the west.” This momentum continued when he became a member of Arrows of Love, a band renowned for their loud, chaotic shows across the UK, Europe, and North America, including performances at SXSW. In the midst of the band’s raw energy, it was often Michael's relentless drumming that held the chaos together.

With a deepening interest in music for media, Michael pivoted to audio engineering in 2012, where he first explored scoring for picture. This transition marked the beginning of a new chapter, as he quickly established himself in the world of composition for games, TV, ads, and film. His work has garnered critical acclaim, including an official nomination for 'Best Music' at the Los Angeles International Film Festival, International Fashion Film Festival, as well as nominations from IndieX Awards.

Now based in a small village in Hertfordshire, surrounded by an array of synths and instruments, Michael continues to push the boundaries of sound. Drawing inspiration from legends like Danny Elfman, Sven Libaek, and Hildur Guðnadóttir, his compositions weave together dark, gritty, and organic textures, blending orchestral, electronic, rock, and world sounds. His recent projects include scoring Unbreakable Women of Ukraine (2025), Rancho Mirage (2023), Grid Slayer (2022), VR Man (2022), and House Slaughter (2020).

A true multi-instrumentalist and experimentalist, Michael remains deeply committed to exploring new sonic landscapes, always with a touch of the eclectic and the unexpected.
